Courtesy crossings are the most efficient form of crossing for both traffic and pedestrian movement. The issue is that the best places to instal them have already been developed as informat crossings. This guide gives an example of how to convert an informal crossing into a courtesy crossing.

Historic towns are a cornerstone of the image of Britain. However, to make changes, a body of evidence must be collected in order to enact it. This is where we have to create reports on historic towns to be strong and encompassing of what the town needs and how those needs can be met, not only to survive but to thrive.

Haslemere High Street has been heavliy impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Traffic-related tegeneration and placemaking are the key features of the project. This was an Undergraduate Project created by Robert Thomas in association with PRIAN Public Realm.
